In the EV market, A Dubai based company offering Electric Cars in just Dh70, 000 which is the half price of new models. PEEC is a company who transform Cars from petrol to Electric claims that it will be possible with using old bodies.
The company is all set to start deliveries in 2025. Old car’s like Toyota Camry was transformed from petrol to electric version and showcased in at the ITS World Congress in Dubai.
Zach Faizal, Who is the founder of this company said that the life cycle of the old bodies will increase and make it budget friendly also.
By the using of existing car bodies and chassis cannot reduce the cost upto 30% but it also boost the production time by 80%.
In a single and full charge, its range will be the 300-KM with 0% harmful emission.
This start-up is also aligns with the UAE’s goal to increase Electric Cars on roads to 50% by 2050 and participate to zero emission by 2030
According to a recent report more than 30,000 electric vehicles was registered by the end of April 2024. PEEC Mobility’s innovative program will play the major role in the environment.
